Welcome to the World War 2
World War II was one of the most devastating wars of all time, there were many casualties and millions died in the conflict.
Adolf Hitler as leader of the Nazi party was elected to power in Germany in 1933. He promised to make Germany great again after it had been defeated in World War I.
The war in Europe began in 1939 after Hitler had invaded Poland. Britain and France declared war on Germany when they refused to leave Poland and stop this invasion.
This horrific war did not just affect the soldiers but also the women and children who had to live and survive the effects war had upon their lives.
